A visit to the Dr’s has never felt better! Dr’s John and Brigid Forrest own Forrest Estate Wines in the heart of the world famous Sauvignon Blanc capital – The Marlborough Wine Region. While on tour of New Zealand, I joined John Forrest at his Estate for a private behind the scenes walk of the vineyard and winery and learnt why the Marlborough area produces such great quality wines. We discovered the barrel room with its amazing pungent smells of oak barrels, and John’s passion for wine and his love of experimenting with different varietals.
 

The Dr’s prescribed us a healthy dose of their fantastic Sauvignon Blanc and a soft but flavoursome Pinot Noir, followed by a five course degustation dinner paired to Forrest Wines. One should not underestimate their Noble Riesling, an excellent match with dessert.
 

From amateurs to connoisseurs Blenheim is a must see location.
