Down-town Christchurch re-opens

The team at UPJ took an office field trip this week to explore the newly opened city centre of Cashel Mall. Fantastic! It is so good to see the central part of our city re-open. The area is now home to some 27 stores, housed in newly converted shipping containers. Shops include high fashion, a grocer, coffee shops and banking.

A long standing member of Cashel Mall is the beloved Department Store Ballantynes, or Ballies as the locals fondly refer to it. Having taken the time to re-vamp, it is now re-opened for all to enjoy and is looking amazing! The entire area has a positive and vibrant feel - thanks to all those involved.

The George Hotel is open for business and looking better than ever, or for those who enjoy lodge accommodation, Otahuna is an amazing place to stay. Christchurch the Garden City is up and running and looking forward to a bright summer ahead.
