Papua New Guinea Expedition
I just wanted to share with you all that I'm going to be the Tour Director for the upcoming Papua New Guinea Expedition that Stanford Alumni Association are offering in Spring of 2012.
Apart from the honor of working alongside the fantastic people at Stanford, a trip to Papua New Guinea is always cause for celebration.
PNG is an unparalleled experience. Imagine spectacular and untainted coral reefs, lush tropical rainforests and a rich and diverse indigenous culture. Few destinations as unspoiled as Papua New Guinea making travel here rewarding, however it's often not visited because of how difficult travel can be in this region.
Stanford's program is the perfect solution.
It's a 17 day itinerary for only 72 people, aboard the Oceanic Discoverer allowing for unparalleled access to the island, it's people and wildlife. The itinerary offers a range of experiences, insights and opportunities to engage with PNG, and is led by Faculty Leader Bob Siegel who is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the country. I have no doubt that you'll leave with memories that last a lifetime.
The expedition runs March 14 to 30, 2012 and spaces are filling up fast.
