Holly became caught up in wanderlust at a very young age spending family summer vacations traveling much of the US and Mexico. Growing up, the tales she heard told by her Grandfather who had been stationed in the South Pacific during WWII sparked her fascination for the region. Upon graduation from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Cultural Anthropology and Marketing, she set off on her first long-haul flight to Australia. The 5 week holiday turned into a 9 month stint as she began her love affair with the country and it's offerings. She had a childhood friend living in Australia and, together, they set off on a road trip through Queensland and NSW. She reluctantly left Australia but continued her travels through Europe.
While her background started in advertising and marketing, she ultimately made the decisicion to move into the travel industry. Holly spent nine years working for Ker & Downey - both inside sales and as a regional sales manager. Holly has travelled all over South America, Southern Africa, the Middle East and Europe but her love for Australia has drawn her back annually for the last 10 years and has extended to New Zealand.
After her first visit to New Zealand in 2010 and meeting Tim Scott and the team at Unparalleled Journeys, she knew she had found the company she wanted to work with. She joined the team in January 2016 as the US Regional Sales Manager and has been spending her time preaching the South Pacific word of Unparalleled Journeys to the travel agent community. With their shared philosophy on travel through the Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands, they are all dedicated to making sure their clients fall inlove with the region and all it has to offer.
Holly believes the South Pacific should be a must on every person's travel list. The team at Unparalleled Journeys make it their goal to customize each trip that will leave their clients wanting to return just as Holly always has. She is located in Houston, TX and is a great local point of reference for any questions to help you get started on planning your trip to the South Pacific.
